Cooperatives

The people
behind the lot.

We buy through cooperatives, washing stations and estates that can trace a lot back to its cherries. This page is for them: what a cooperative gets from the platform, what we ask for, and how the money flows.

What a cooperative gets

Six things that change for you.

Paid on the agreed terms

Your FOB price is the first line on every lot. It is paid on the terms in the contract, even when the roaster finances the lot through CAPITAL. No waiting for the roaster’s cash flow.

Small lots are worth listing

Ten bags do not fill a container, so we consolidate lots from the same region into one. Your lot travels at container freight and reaches roasters who would never book a container alone.

Your own page in the shop

Story, members, altitude, certifications, harvest window and photos. Roasters filter by your tags and land on your page, not on an anonymous offer list.

Samples routed to you

A roaster requests a 200 g sample on your lot, the request lands in your dashboard, and you see who is cupping your coffee before the order comes.

One contract, one counterpart

You sign one contract with the platform, not twenty with twenty roasters. Import, customs and organic paperwork are handled on our side.

Certified, separated, documented

Your coffee sits in an EU organic certified warehouse, stored separately, intake documented, mass balance reconciled. That is what keeps your certification worth something in Europe.

Real numbers

What a roaster sees on your page.

This is the cooperative page a roaster opens in the shop, built from what you enter. The numbers below are the demo cooperative.

What we ask for

Photos, scores, descriptors. Your price.

Photos, mandatory

At least one photo of the cooperative and each lot. Roasters buy with their eyes first, and a lot without a photo does not go live.

SCA cupping form and descriptors

Scores from 6 to 10 in 0.25 steps per attribute, and at least three descriptors from the SCA flavour wheel. The wheel on your lot page is built from them.

Your FOB price and availability

Bag size, bags available, harvest window, release month. If a lot sells out, you say so in the dashboard and the page updates.

Documents on request

ICO or export documents, certification certificates and the washing station record. We check once, then it applies to every lot.

How the money flows

Contract, container, payout.

01

Roaster buys in the shop

One contract per order, with your FOB price, the smoasters service fee and the freight as separate lines.

02

We consolidate and import

Your lot joins others from the region in a shared container to Antwerp and on to our warehouse.

03

You are paid on the agreed terms

The payout follows the contract, not the roaster’s cash flow. If the roaster finances through CAPITAL., you are still paid on time. Every payout is in your dashboard.

What you can see

Traceability that holds up.

Lot level, not blend level

Every lot keeps its identity from the washing station through consolidation to the roastery. Strict FIFO rotation and full batch traceability in the warehouse.

Organic certification

Our warehouses in Germany and the Netherlands are EU organic certified. Organic and conventional lots are stored separately and every intake is documented.

What we do not claim

We do not publish farm gate prices we cannot verify, and we do not put a certification on a lot that does not carry one.

Want to know who grew it?

Every lot in the shop carries its cooperative, station, process and cupping sheet.
