Can I cup before I buy?Yes. Samples are requested from the lot page in the shop and shipped from the nearest warehouse when the lot is in Europe.→Can I finance a lot instead of paying at order?Yes. Choose Finance with CAPITAL. at checkout. Financing is arranged with our partners from 7% a year and you pay per release from the warehouse. How CAPITAL. works.→How do I get access to the shop? The shop is closed. Register as a roaster at shop.smoasters.com, we verify the business once, then you see lots, prices and cupping sheets.→How is the price built up?Three lines on every lot: the FOB price set by the producer, the smoasters service fee per kg, and freight, import and outhousing as a separate line. Because we consolidate lots from several producers into shared containers, small lots pay container freight rates. How the landed price is built, with a worked example.→I am a producer. How do I list my coffee?Register as a producer in the shop, set up your cooperative page, add each coffee with photos, cupping score and FOB price. The green team reviews the entry and the lot goes live. The steps, with screenshots, are on the producer page.→Which origins are on the platform right now?Uganda, Zimbabwe, Costa Rica, Hawaii and Colombia, with more as producers join. See the origins page; the current lots are in the shop.→Still have questions? Our team is happy to help. [email protected]
