smoasters GREEN. · Source it. Move it.

Source your
coffee easier.

A closed marketplace for green coffee: cooperatives list their lots with cupping scores and their own FOB price, we consolidate the shipments, import and store the coffee in Europe, and you buy or finance the lot in the shop.

Your origin relationships

You buy directly from producers and washing stations, every harvest. The relationship is yours, we run the chain behind it.

Price transparency

You see the lot price, the logistics cost and the margin. No mystery differential.

Consolidation

Buy a few bags of a microlot without paying full container economics.

Warehousing

EU organic certified storage with FIFO rotation and full batch traceability.

Sourcing

Three steps to a lot you actually chose.

01

Browse the lots in the shop

Every lot shows origin, cooperative, process, cupping score and the price in three lines. Filter by origin, variety, process or certification.

02

Cup a sample

Request a sample from the lot page. When the lot is already in Europe it ships from the nearest warehouse within days.

03

Buy now or finance

Pay at order, or finance the lot through CAPITAL. and pay per release. Either way the coffee lands in our EU warehouse and you call it off as you roast.

Cupping at origin, photo to be replaced

Sample first, buy second

Every offer arrives with a sample and a landed price.

You cup before you commit. The offer sheet shows the FOB price, the freight, the duty and the warehouse cost, so the number you compare is the number you pay.

Ways to buy

One price, three lines. Two ways to pay.

01

FOB price

Set by the cooperative and shown as its own line on every lot. This is what the producer gets.

02

Service fee per kg

The smoasters fee for sourcing, quality control, import paperwork and warehousing. One number per kg, shown on every lot.

03

Freight, as a separate line

Because we consolidate lots from several producers into shared containers, ten bags pay container freight, not parcel freight. That is the whole point of buying together.

Pay now

Invoice at order.

Lowest total per kg, no financing cost. The lot is reserved for you in our warehouse and you call it off as you roast.

Or finance it

Pay as you roast with CAPITAL.

Arranged with our financing partners from 7% a year. Release from the warehouse as you roast and pay per release.

Transparency

Certified, separated,
reconciled.

Our warehouses in Germany and the Netherlands are EU organic certified. Organic and conventional lots are stored separately, every intake is documented, and a mass balance reconciles what came in against what went out. Roasting at origin keeps more of the value in the producing country, which is the reason the platform exists.

Questions buyers ask

Before your first lot.

Can I buy less than a full container?

Yes. Consolidation is the point of GREEN. We combine lots from several producers into one shipment, so you can buy a few bags of a microlot without paying container economics.

Do you hold the coffee until I need it?

Yes. Lots stay in our EU warehouse and you call off what you need. Storage, FIFO rotation and batch records are handled by us.

Is organic coffee kept separate?

Yes. Our warehouses in Germany and the Netherlands are EU organic certified, with separated storage, documented intake and a mass balance that reconciles organic in against organic out.

Can I combine GREEN with the other products?

That is the whole idea. Green sourced through GREEN., roasted by you, stored and shipped through DROP., listed through DISCOVER. and financed through CAPITAL.
