What does the GPSR mean for my online store?
The General Product Safety Regulation applies to consumer products placed on the EU market and includes specific requirements for online and distance sales.
Relevant product offers must clearly display information including:
- manufacturer name or registered brand
- manufacturer's postal address
- electronic contact address
- where the manufacturer is outside the EU, the responsible person in the EU
- clear product identification
- a product image
- relevant warning and safety information
- where required, information in a language appropriate for the destination market
smoasters provides these fields as structured product information where relevant and available for the specific product.
The roastery remains responsible for correctly displaying the required information in its own store.
