Who is the seller to my customer?You are. smoasters sells B2B to your roastery; your roastery sells B2C to the consumer — the purchase agreement is with you.→Who defines the terms, returns policy and privacy notice?You do — customers purchase through your store. smoasters provides process information for your own documentation.→GPSR / CE
What does CE mean for my roastery?CE is the manufacturer's declaration of conformity for specific harmonised product categories — not a universal certification.→What does the GPSR mean for my online store?The GPSR requires clearly visible manufacturer and safety information on relevant product pages; smoasters supplies the available data as structured fields.→VAT & cross-border selling
How does VAT work?You treat the B2C sale like your other ecommerce transactions; smoasters separately invoices your roastery on a B2B basis.→How does Switzerland work?Switzerland is not part of the EU; Swiss and Liechtenstein orders are fulfilled from our Swiss warehouse where inventory is available.→Still have questions?Our team is happy to help.
